Get preconfigured Slicer profiles for ExcelFil

 

We aim to provide pre configured profiles for different slicing software which you can easily import. They will preconfigure your software for the right extruder and bed temperatures, fan settings, diameters and some other important parameters that vary Slicer by Slicer.

Our tool currently supports the following Slicing software packages:

How to use with Slic3r

Please make sure you use a recent version (>=1.2.9) of Slic3r to get all the benefits.

You can import config bundles with Slic3r using the File menu:
“File > Load Config Bundle…” then point it at the downloaded profile file.

If you are using advanced mode, this will add new Profiles in your Filament Section as shown here.

How to use with Simplify3D

Please make sure you use a recent version (>=3.0) of Simplify 3D to get all the benefits.

To import the downloaded FFF profile, please go to the Menu at:
“File > Import FFF Profile”. Then if you go to your Process configuration, you will be able to see a new Profile named “ExcelFil Filament Presets”. This Profile will have adopted all you previous printer settings, however, you now can select the Filaments in the “Auto-Configure for Material” Dropdown.

How to use with Cura

Please make sure you use a recent version (>=2.1.3) of Cura to get all the benefits.

Please extract the downloaded ZIP file. The extracted folder will be called “Voltivo_Cura_Profiles”. Then copy or move the contents of the “Voltivo_Cura_Profiles” folder into your local Cura configuration “profile” folder

On a MAC, this will be located here: “~/.cura/profiles/”.
On Windows, this will be located here: “$User/AppData/Local/cura/profiles”.
On Linux, this will be located here: “~/.config/cura/profiles”.

After a restart of Cura, the Settings profiles then will the become available in the “Material:” Drop down as following:

How to use with KISSlicer

Please make sure you use a recent version (>=1.4) of KISSlicer to get all the benefits.

KISSlicer saves the presets in a file called “_materials.ini” which is located alongside the Executable. On Windows the “_materials.ini” should be in the same directory as the kisslicer.exe. On a MAC, drop the “_materials.ini” into the same folder as the Application resides.
